reviews:
im tickled to get to review this one. Engaging songs that
get their charm from dynamic guitarwork. Sometimes I'm reminded
of "books lie" because the guitar moves about in
a determined way that opens up the dancefloor for some boogie.
The guitar also panics through with a jittery edge. Overall
there is a dark feel to "wolves" that benefits from
their apparent fondness for true guitar-based rock and roll.
I do hope these are preliminary recording because a bit more
punch will get a "wolves" release into required
ownership territory. - tom hopkins, maximum rocknroll
Wolves consist of the old Orchid bass player, a member of
the Last Forty Seconds, Orchid's most active roadie, and one
guy I don't know. I can't really compare them to anyone. They
are closer to orchid than to The Last Forty Seconds, but not
nearly at arty as Orchid. They use tempo change to their advantage
and are able to build up for some explosive energy (you know
the calm before the storm). Very pulsating and rhythmic with
screamed vocals that aren't too harsh or annoying. Inthe end
the Wolves just play solid hardcore. This is a good demo,
and I suspect they will have a record soon. - kent mcclard,

ORDERING
we're not going to be doing mailorder anymore. we really like the idea of people being able to order directly from us and have some more intimate interaction but were just far too slow with it. trust us, you're better off ordering from one of the distros that carries our stuff.
if you have questions, email brad at brw97@hampshire.edu.
