2004.3.10 - INTERVIEWS AND SEND US PICTURES
A recent interview is up at http://www.hartboiled.de/ More of Brad adding opinion and speculation to the internet.
An older interview is in the new issue of HeartAttack #41 Check it out. More info www.ebullition.com
Send us pictures and video. Seriously. You owe each of us like 25 birthday presents anyway.

2004.2.17 - THE END, EUROPE, PICTURES AND VIDEO, AND THE FUTURE
Epilougue: For those that have been sleeping on the next shit, Wolves have called it quits. On January 30th and 31st we played two last shows, one at the Flywheel in Easthampton, MA and then the next day at the Cambridge YWCA. Both of these shows were a ton of fun and a big thanks to Ben Sisto, Brian Frennette, Katerina, Chris Dooley, Transistor, Donna and Carly, Bete Noire, Querencia, They and the Children, Sinaloa, Ampere and all our friends and fans who helped us make these shows a great time for everyone involved. We couldn't be more pleased that people seemed to have a really great time at both of these shows. Reunion show scheduled for 2012. Look for Natowar and SpiderSnake leaping off the stage via ramp and wheelchairs.

Europe: We had a fucking blast in Europe. We couldn't say thank you enough times to everyone who we met and helped out along the way. Some of the best shows we ever played occured on this tour (sorry U.S.) and it was largely in part to being able to play in such positive environments night after night. Big Ups to Florian, Hendrik, and Andre for booking and driving this tour. Big Ups to Transistor for being our soulmates and sharing the road with us. No fucking thanks to the dicks at British Customs. Other than that everbody in Europe has our deepest gratitude. The food, the beds, the venues, the PA's, the short drives, the beer, and the great attitudes were more than we could have ever asked for. We'll never forget it. Kind of like 9/11. Actually not like that at all.

Pictures and Video: It seemed like a lot of people were taking pictures and/or video of Wolves and Transistor while on tour and at the last shows. Anybody that has either pictures or videos, please get in touch. We would love nothing more than to get our hands on as much of this stuff as possible. Most of it we will try and archive on the website and there has even been talk of some show footage being made available via CD-Rom. Nothing for certain but if you have video or pictures please get in touch. We can trade records or make other arrangements if need be. Even if you just want to link a website or send a CD-R of scanned shots we'd be psyched. e-mail erik at ehopp-at-hampshire-dot-edu.

The Future: We still have one Post-Humous release coming up. Wolves/Sinaloa split 7" will be going to the pressing plant soon. Hopefully it'll be out in a couple of months via CleanPlate records. You'll get it cheapest and quickest through Ebulltion or at a Sinaloa show. It's not impossible that we might release 7"s and demo stuff on CD sometime in the distant future. No promises.

-Andy is still rocking with Ampere and you can expect touring from them this summer and hopefully a 12" or LP as well.
- Brad has already got himself in over his head and is jamming with two new projects and is going to give playing guitar in Transistor Transistor a shot. A new Bucket Full of Teeth record should be released sometime this summer as well.
-Erik no doubt will be rocking some low end furry Providence style in the future
-Tim is probably playing T.Rex songs on a Ukelele somewhere near the Mexican border

Updates on future projects will probably be availble here now and then, and possible links as well. The next issue of HeartAttack is going to run an interview with Brad concerning Wolves and some other topics. Check it out. Coaltion will release "Simulation" on 10" format sometime in the future. We don't know when. Send them an e-mail and harrass them about it.

2003.12.31 - RUMORS, NEW RELAESE, MAILORDER, ETC.
Confirming Nasty Rumors Department: Wolves has indeed decided that we will be calling it quits in the ’04. The primary reason for this is that Tim has decided to move to San Diego after we return from our European Tour. We’ve had our highpoints and lowpoints being a band that lives a couple hours away from each other but none of us are interested in dragging this out as a cross- country band with no certainty about a future ability to be reasonably active. That being said we see this as somewhat ideal timing to go out with a bang and with a flurry of positive activity. The band has been going for about 3 years in one form or another and we’ve had a pretty good run of things and look forward to going out on a high note. When we get back from Europe we will wrap things up quickly by playing two more shows. One will be in CT probably at UConn and is being set up by Brian Frennette, and the other will be in Boston at either the 1st Parish Church or the Cambridge YWCA, and is being set up by Ben Sisto. CT will be on Friday January 30th and Boston will be Saturday January 31st. You can expect both shows will feature many of the bands we have formed friendships with and have played frequently with in the past. Stay tuned for details confirming all this information. So hopefully that quells any rumors and/or questions but for those who would like to insinuate otherwise on the world wide web, we suggest the following subject matter as a “real” reason for a breakup: Cocaine, Common Law Marriage, Shock Therapy/Institutionalization, Career Opportunities, 3V3 Streetball Tournaments, Arctic Drilling Investment, Human Dairy Product, or We hate each other so much we can’t stand to be in the same room together. Anyway we are still really looking forward to tour and rocking hard so come out and have fun with us. Just some last shows, hopefully we won’t blow it out of proportion.

The Transistor Transistor/Wolves split CD was out in time for the Boston show so some of you have it already. You can currently order it from Level-Plane distro and it should be in stores on January 12th. The test press has been approved as well so 12” version should be done more or less on time as well. I think Newbury Comics will be running a sale on it when it first comes out for a week or two so take advantage of that if you live in the NE. Big thanks to Greg at Level-Plane for working hard to get this out on time, he’s been great to work with. Nova recording will be releasing a 12” version for Europe as well that we will have on tour, so big thanks to them for doing that supporting our tour.

All mailorder that was way fucking overdue has been sent out. If you don’t get your stuff soon let us know because it’s not impossible that we may have lost something in between moving and general disorganization. People who live outside the states obviously be patient for a couple of weeks and give it a chance to get there. Once again, sorry for it taking forever.

Happy Festivus. Stop crying and fight your father.

2003.12.17 - NEW CD THIS WEEKEND
If all goes well, we will have the cd version of the transistor.transistor / wolves split at our show in boston of saturday.

2003.12.03 - NEW MP3 UP
An mp3 off of the transistor.transistor split is now available for download from the media page. it is "18" for those of you counting...

2003.12.03 - LOTS OF NEWS...
The Transistor Transistor/Wolves split 12"/CD is at the pressing plants now. The official release date is January 12th but we should have copies for the European tour. We hope we might even have them for some shows we are playing in late december. The split 7" with Sinaloa that is coming out on Cleanplate is coming along as well, and should be out shortly after that but probably not for tour.

UPCOMING SHOWS:
*friday december 19th @6pm
the summit cafe, derry, nh
$5, all ages

bravo fucking bravo

transistor.transistor
wolves

*saturday december 20th @7pm

$6, all ages

donna and carly

transistor.transistor
wolves

We added one new mp3 (10) to the site and another one will be added very soon. The one that is up now is from the split 7" with Ampere and the other one that will be put up soon is from our upcoming split 12" with Transistor Transistor. Check them out in the media section.

Coalition decided to only press the 10" vinyl of "simulation.transparency.alienation" in Europe due to pressing cost in the US. It is supposedly going to be finished in December in time for our European tour. We'll be picking up copies over there. It'll probably be a little more expensive when it finally makes it over here, but we think it'll be worth it because the artwork we'll be that much better, and their are some rumblings of 50/50 pink/blue vinyl. Fuck CD's anyway right? If you don't think records sound better buy a better record player. That being said you can still get the CD from Ebulltion, Insound, Very, Level-Plane, and Lumberjack.

Big thanks to Hrishikesh Hirway for getting the split with Transistor print ready for us. He helped us out big time when we really needed it.

Thanks to Stephen Pierce for lending us his car to go to mastering when we didn't have one.

We're not going to be doing mailorder anymore. We really like the idea of people being able to order directly from us and have some more intimate interaction but were just far too slow with it. Trust us, you're better off ordering from one of the distros that carries our stuff.

If anybody sees any reviews of the split 7" with ampere or the "Simulation" CD please pass them along. Also feel free to send us your own review, good or bad, we enjoy feedback. A couple people have already and we appreciate it.

2003.09.07
We never thought we would see the day but we finally received the CD version
of our new record last week. Fortunately it came back looking great, and there
weren't any fuck ups. We will be selling these CD's at our upcoming show in
Boston with Submission Hold, and at the show with Hot Cross and Panthers in CT.
You can order it from Ebullition right now, and Level-Plane and other fine
distro's such as Very and Lumberjack should have it in the near future. At
present we will not be mailordering copies ourselves. Were very anxious to have
people hear this, so once you get the record if you'd like to write us and tell
us what you think please feel free. 10" vinyl should be coming soon.
In early August we secluded ourselves to Dead Air studios in Amherst,MA for
two weekends in which we have finished the basic tracking for 5 new songs. 4 of
those songs are going to be on a Split record with Transistor Transistor on
Level-Plane that will hopefully come out in January '04. The 5th song will go
on a split 7" with Sinaloa which will come out on Clean Plate records hopefully
around the same time. We need to finish vocals and mix, but so far we are very
pleased with the results and feel that it will be our best recording to date.
We're continuing to firm up plans to go to Europe in January. Transistor
Transistor will be touring over there for 5 weeks and they were nice enough to
ask us to join them, although we will only be doing about 3.5 weeks of the
tour. Nonetheless we are excited and will post tour dates once they are
confirmed.
There is a Wolves interview up at www.calamityproject.com if you are so
inclined to see Brad run his mouth about various punk rock subjects.
The Wolves/Ampere split 7" is still available and your best bet is to get it
from Ebullition or from Moganono. Also from us at shows.
