From Anywhere North
Take RT. 91 South to Easthampton/Rt. 141 (exit 17) and follow Rt. 141 West, down the mountain. Flywheel is on the left before the center of town.

From Northampton
Follow Rt. 10 through Northampton and into Easthampton Center. Turn left onto Union St at the lights. Go to the end of Union St and turn left onto Cottage St. Flywheel is on the right just as the road curves right to head up Holyoke St.

From the West Or East
Take the Mass Pike to Exit 4. Follow the signs to Holyoke/Rt. 91 North. Take RT. 91 North to Easthampton/Rt. 141 exit (17b) and follow Rt. 141 West, down the mountain. Flywheel is on the left before the center of town.

From NYC
Take the NJ turnpike South to exit 14. take 78 West for about 60 miles well into PA. Take the exit (formerly 16) which is 222 South. Take 222 South for about 32 miles. You will then come to an exit on your right that will be the continuation of 222 South, or you can continue straight and it will be 222 South Business Route. Take 222 South Business Route by going straight. Take rt 222 Business Route South for about 4 miles. You will then get off at 12 West toward 176. take 12 West for about a mile. Get off at the River Rd exit. Make a right at bottom of the exit, at stop sign. Place is about 2 blocks down on right. 2309 river rd. If you have any problems earlier that day call 610.921.2572

mass pike to 495 N towards Haverhill, Lawrence. Take exit 50..off the ramp take a right (you will be on rt. 97) follow until you hit a rotary and go around and head towards Haffner's (which is on the left) go under a bridge and the space is on the right across from a dunkin donuts. it is called exit 23.

From Vermont and points north
From points north of Amherst, take Route 91 south to exit 20 (Northampton). Turn left at the first traffic light onto Damon Road. At the next light, turn left and take Route 9 east to Amherst. At the town center, turn right onto Route 116 and follow it south three miles to Hampshire.

From Boston and points east
From Boston, it is approximately 2 hours to the campus. Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 4 (West Springfield/Route 91). Take Route 91 north to Exit 19 (Northampton/Amherst, Route 9). Turn right on Route 9 (east) and follow it to the center of Amherst. Turn right on Route 116 and follow it south for approximately three miles. The first sign you'll see for Hampshire is the Farm Center. About one thousand feet (.2 mile) farther south is the Admissions Office, and another thousand feet south is the main entrance to the college. (An alternate route to Hampshire is posted at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 47.)

From Hartford, New York City and points south
Hampshire College is a 3.5 hour drive from New York City. Follow Route 95 to New Haven, Connecticut, and then Route 91 north from New Haven to Northampton, Massachusetts (Exit 19: Northampton/Amherst, Route 9). Turn right on Route 9 (east) and follow it to the center of Amherst. Turn right on Route 116 and follow it south for approximately three miles. The third sign you'll see for Hampshire is the Admissions Office. (An alternate route to Hampshire is posted at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 47.)

From Albany and points west
Continue on I-90, into Massachusetts where it becomes the Massachusetts Turnpike. Take Exit 4 (West Springfield, Route I-91) onto Route I-91 north until Exit 19 (Northampton/Amherst, Route 9). Follow the directions from Boston and points east.

From 93 South:
Take exit 32 (Medford Sq). Take the first right off the rotary. Go through one set of lights and bear left at the next.

*Stay to the right at the Mobil fork, then turn right onto George St (it'll be after an iron gate). Take the first left onto College Ave. At the huge 4-way intersection, turn right onto Boston Ave. At the first light, turn left up the hill. Right before the top of the hill, you'll see Tesla Ave. 10 Winthrop is at the corner of Tesla and Winthrop. The basement entrance is on Tesla Ave, so take a right and it'll be the first house on the left.

From 93 North:
Take exit 31. Take the first exit (it'll be for Medford Sq). Turn left at the stop sign. Then follow the above directions, starting at the *.

From Mass Ave (coming from Boston):
Turn right onto Beech St after Porter Sq.  Turn left when Beech ends onto Elm St. Take a right at the first light, then take a left at the end of the street. Get in the right lane and take a right at the light. At the rotary, take the third exit onto College Ave. Take the second left onto Professors Ave. At the end of Professors, turn right. 10 Withrop will be at the top of the hill on the left, but the basement entrance is on Tesla Ave, so take a left onto Tesla.

from providence:
get on 95 n to route 2 east. route 2 will hit an intersection...stay left on to route 16. follow this until you take a right on to mass ave. it will be at an interesection, so keeep your eyes open. follow mass ave until you come into harvard square. follow this through a few intersections in the harvard square vicinity. you will pass urban outfitters on your left as well as wordsworth books and the gap on your right. after these buildings go left. follow this road for a bit..go through a few lights, pass a building that parts the road in half...it almost looks like a face at night. stay to the right of it. at the weird intersection which actually gives you the choice of going straight left, or a really exaggerated left that is going backwards a bit...go the regular left. then take a left onto harvard st...the place is on the right..look for a handicap walkway.
