Thanks to everybody that helped out with tour. Everyone that set up a show,
all the bands we played with, everyone we met, everyone who bought are crappy
stuff, everyone who cooked us food, let us sleep on their floor, and just
generally took care of us and made sure we had a good time, our gratitude and
appreciation for making it all possible.
Despite constantly stating that our new 10"/CD would be out in the spring and
then before tour, it is still not out yet. "How could this be?" you might ask.
Well ask the geniuses at Furnace who have been sitting on it for two months.
Our understanding is that there have been problems with the artwork but
Furncace doesn't bother telling Coalition about it unless they call and ask. So
basically communication on getting this record actually made has been pretty
terrible. Supposedly the artwork issues are being resolved and it will come out
soon. At this point we make no claim as to when it will come out. Unfortunately
it is out of our hands. By all reasonable standards we should have it by early
August but then again by all reasonable standards we should have had it some
time in May.
The Wolves/Ampere split 7" however is out now. It took almost exactly a year
from conception to realization for this project, but were all very happy with
the results. Ebulltion should be carrying it soon. Or you can order it from
Moganono records for $3ppd.

We've had some reports from our friends that their new Wolves t-shirt with
the silver ink washed out. Were not really sure why this has happened but we
suspect some of the shirts didn't get heat set as well as they should have. If
you have one of these shirts we suggest running it through the dryer by itself
for a full cycle or ironing it for a few minutes to make sure the design is
set. Our apologies to anyone who may have gotten one of these shirts.
For those of you that e-mail and ask/tell us to come to Europe and the U.K.
you will be probably get your wish. Were planning on coming over in January of
next year. More details in the future when plans are confirmed.
Our collective schedules and geographical dispostion really suck right now.
Were going to be busy trying to record some new material, but our ability to
play shows in the near future will be severely limited. Feel free to ask and
maybe we can do it, but just know that chances are low. We would if we could.

the split with ampere will be out this friday at the show in boston.  there were some venue issues with this show, but it looks like it is going to happen at tufts.  wolves will be performing with ampere as "punkestra".  unicoroner, transistor transistor, light the fuse and run, and they and the children are also playing.
we also expect to have at least the cds for the 10" when leave for tour from june 13 - 22.

after our set on friday a couple people apologized for dancing ect.... this is not necessary. official word from wolves HQ is "rock the fuck out". we want you to have fun. unfortunately were not as good as andrew w.k. at expressing that. we certainly do not wish to make any rules regarding dancing or other forms of audience participation. we do hope that while you are having fun though that you try and remain conscious and respectful of the people and space around you. so hopefully that clears up any miscommunication on our part and shows in boston will continue to be as enthusiastic and fun as they have been lately, and no one will walk away feeling alienated or physically harmed. we really do appreciate the dancing and gettin down. It makes us excited about music and shows. if you knock out the drumset just look out for the drummer. we're looking at you fred.
so speaking of dancing. those of you that do enjoy rocking out should come to our show on march 8th in CT. our big time record executives from the netherlands are going to be there, so we need you guys to go crazy so they think we are more popular than we really are. plus all the other bands rule. why wouldn't you go?
we're making good progress on the 10" and the split 7" with ampere. both should go off to press soon. mastering of the 10" came out really well.

we unfortunately had to cancel our appearances just south of the mason-dixon line next weekend (feb 8 in dc and feb 9 in balt).  we are however able to travel to the much closer town of storrs, ct to play on feb 8.  (sorry we could not make it down, we will try to schedule some shows there as soon as we can.)

we played some good shows in boston, new hampshire and connecticut in the past couple weeks and we are planning more in the area soon.  we will have the dates up here soon (i promise).
oct 25 - 27 is when we are recording for a 10" with will at dead air again.  we have 5 songs ready to record, but we may only put 4 on the record... we'll see. coalition is putting this one out too. 
as soon as ampere records and we all sit down to talk about artwork, the split 7" will be ready to give to pete.  we'll let you know when to expect it.

we are back from tour. it went pretty well. we would like to thank everybody who set up shows for us, fed us, let us sleep at their houses, bands that played with us, and everyone that came out to see us.
if anybody has any pictures or recordings from shows, please let us know as we would like copies. we have our own pictures that we will be putting up as soon as we get them back and scanned in.
on the way out of massachusetts for tour, we stopped off at UPS and picked up records. so even though they have now been out for about a month, this is the first time it has been posted to the site. so, we have lps.
we have just recorded 10 and 11 for a split 7" with ampere which will be put out by our good friend pete at moganono records. we are very happy with the recording. will at dead air has done a fine job once again.

we are currently planning our summer tour of the US. please let us know if you want to set up a show for us in your city.
we expect the art.culture.work cd to be out any time now. we will let you know when it arrives.
we have 5 new songs mostly finished (4 which we have not played live yet). two or three of these tracks (plus maybe one more) will be put on a 7" and the remaining songs, plus more will go towards a 10" record. we plan to record as soon as we can, but it may not be until july that we are able to do it.

we are back from our mini-tour and had a lot of fun playing in reading, pa, pittsburgh, cleveland, and olean, ny. despite running out of gas, the car not starting, the unwieldy uhaul, the cold, rain, ice, and snow, rap metal radio, getting lost, and some equipment troubles, i think we are all really happy with how it all turned out and are energized by how we are playing together.
we deviated from our original schedule (and did not play in westmont, nj) to help out off minor, who needed equipment because the deadly were not able to accompany them on their four day trip. we want to appoligize for jumping out at the last minute and we would love to schedule another time we can play in the new jersey area.
we want to thank alexander t, chris's warped records, mr. roboto project, and the cobra la for letting us play and also thank the nice people we stayed with including dj and the other pitt kids, brenden, denny, and erik's mom for their hospitality. we want to thank off minor for making the trip much more enjoyable (as well as for their great music) and the other bands we played with. lastly, we would like to thank mikael who roadied for us as well as jeanette and joe for roadied for off minor. it would not have been nearly as much fun without you.
the artwork and music is finally done for our first lp/cd, art.culture.work which will be coming out on coalition records. we will be sending it in tomorrow and it will hopefully be pressed soon. with the lp/cd will be a 16 page four color booklet of art and ideas.

we are almost ready to start the mini tour jan 10-13 but we still need to book a show in the mid atlantic area for the 13th.
we ordered lots of red and black t-shirts and have screened them. more info is avaliable here. we have also increased our supply of demos which can also be ordered via the above link.

the record hospital fest went pretty well despite the fact that the last forty seconds were not able to play. our next show is at the flywheel before some of us have to leave for holiday breaks.
we are scheduling a "mini tour" for early/mid january and are booking shows in ny, pittsburgh, philly, reading (pa), and maybe nj or dc/balt.
we have finally completed recording all of art.culture.work and will be mastering it in early january and sending it off to coalition to hopefully get it pressed and out in february some time.
also, we are almost definately doing a US tour this summer, so watch out for that. we will have more info within the next couple of months.

andy came back from his tour a little early and we have spent the last 10 days straight practicing or recording. we have recorded everything except for the vocals and the artwork still needs some layout help and touch-ups
the lp/cd will come out on Coalition Records. it will probably be 8 songs (plus electronic noise and thoughts in between songs)
i will be adding pages to the website soon that are viewable via different browsers

we are currently discussing putting out a cd/lp with coalition records from the netherlands. it looks like we will probably do it as long as we have enough songs that we are happy with by the time we record at some point in october. and there is talk of touring in january to support the record
andy [drummer] is currently on a us tour with his other band the last forty seconds, so we will not be playing any shows until he gets back. he is set to return in early september
in the absence of andy we have been experimenting with some new ideas of including more electronics in our sound. we will hopefully have audio files here soon for you to hear the results
